5QF - Momma Like

This has been one of those weeks.  Where, every morning you reach in the cabinet for a coffee mug and then put it back and grab a much bigger one.  I'm really excited for this weekend.  We have our first ever babysitter for Bitty.  It's a teacher at her school though so I'm sure it will be fine.  And she'll be asleep before we even leave home.  It will be fine.  Won't it?  Eeks.  Well we are going to dinner at our first date spot then a movie to celebrate our anniversary.  It doesn't seem like much but did I mention this is the FIRST babysitter ever for Bitty?  It's a big deal.  I'm even wearing skinny jeans.  That means something to me!

Okie dokes, on with the show.  It is Five Question Friday again over at My Little Life.  Go linkity link up and have some fun because golly gorsh, it's FRIDAY!

1. What do you listen to while driving?

I listen to Bitty babble, I listen to B make his toys talk which is often times fascinating and melts my heart, I listen to whichever cd Nip has left in there (as long as it isn't Jimmy Buffett, sorry Parrotheads but I'm no fan), and I really like to listen to the 2 XM stations that came with the car.  It's really just previews trying to get you to subscribe (we did at one time but decided free is better).  Did you know there's a station just for fantasy football.  Now, not to get off subject but this is one more thing I can't stand. But I love learning of these quirky little channels and think "who gets paid to do that!?!?"

2. What is your least favorite thing about Fall?
Oh that's like telling you my least favorite thing about ice cream.  Hmm.  My least favorite part is talking Nip into turning the heater on.  He likes it cold, and I always feel cold.  But this year I've already won one night with the "well the baby feels clammy and besides, don't you want to know if the furnace works correctly before it gets super cold???". 

3. What does your dream house look like, inside and out?
Well that's easy!  I live in it.  It's a center hall colonial.  Asymmetry asymmetry asymmetry.  It just makes my heart giddy.  I could spend the rest of my life here.  I'd want to re-do some things but man, I love this house!  The only way I could love it more would be if it were transplanted along the Maine/New Hampshire coast.

4. Would you ever own a minivan?
I've always said no way in the world will I be a mini-van mom!  But B wants one.  And I kind of like the redesigned Toyota Sienna.  Hmm.  No, no no no, I just can't do it.  I'm an SUV mom.  I love the one I have now but I'm pretty sure they stopped making them last year.  I think I'd pick an Arcadia next.
Post Publish Edit:  I love mini-van moms!  I wish one would drive me around to ballet and for Happy Meals.  I think they are compfy and nice but I bought into the stigma long ago.  Shame on me.

5. Do you wash new clothes before wearing them?
Just undies and swimwear.  Oh and dark denim because once I didn't and you know what happened.  My legs looked like they had been punched all over and lost all blood flow, blotchy blue legs not so pretty.
