Amid all the party planning there was fun to be had. I'm no super freak when it comes to Halloween. But since I am a mom I make sure the kids can pack in the memories. Tomorrow I'll post on the party. For today, I'll stick to captions.

| To kick off the weekend B and I went to the Enchanted Forest for a freezing evening of fun. He was looking at Jupiter in this shot. I'm such a neurotic freak I wouldn't get on that ladder so I missed out. |
| B with the Chiefs mascot KC Wolf. There were a handful of puppeteers, folk singers and magicians putting on mini shows throughout the walking trail of the park. |
| Friday I took B and Bitty to the Pumpkin Patch and we met up with his buddy from school, his mom and his lil sister who was just a few months younger than Bitty. We had a great time and I'm ashamed to admit this was our first ever play-date outing type thing with another family. Shame on me. |
| Bitty wanted to help carve pumpkins until she realized it would require messy hands. Even B went to wash his hands after sticking it in the pumpkin for half a second. What weirdo kids have I created!?!? |
| A lamb and Spiderman (the "black one" B tells me). I'm in love. |
| This was the best Halloween for us ever! It's our first in our new neighborhood which is full of kids. We had a ton of trick or treaters and B walked half way down our street and came home because his bucket was full and he was satisfied with the loot even after we showed him what it looked like with the peanut products out of it. So he drank a coke (his first), ate a bag of Doritos and 4 things of candy then went to bed. Somehow. We decided we are never moving! What a great place to live and to watch our children grow up. |
Sounds like a good Halloween -Glad everyone had fun!
