Christmas Card Failure - Scene 3

I had both kids in this shot and by the time it took one was gone and the other blurry.

Would work but there isn't one of Bitty with the same tone to it.

Really pretty but the color is all faded/weird.  Again, I need to take a class.

It looks like she has a flesh eating disease and again with the color.  I did this and the other using that sport shot thing because she never sits still!

Weird smile but I'd take it if I had another with Bitty that had the same tone.

I could make do but I'd prefer to see her whole face, hair not a mess and less drool.  I'm asking for too much from a one year old!

We're still working on getting the perfect shot.  We'll let you know if these turn out to be Valentine or St. Pat's cards!

  2. Oh this is just how I decorate my home.

Okay, it's Crown Center in Kansas City. I love it here for Christmas. There's so much to see and do between Downtown and The Plaza. I encourage your tourism. ;o)

  3. lol @ this is how I decorate my home. I almost believed you and was like.. WHAAAAT!?? haha!

I feel your pain. It's impossible to get my 2 to look at the camera, smile and stand still at the same time!

I have faith you will get the perfect shot! (in the meantime you are getting GREAT practice, right!?)

  4. Snap a photo of that giant (and awesome) nutcracker, say the kids took it, pop it onto shutterfly and call it a day. Done.

You are being way to hard on yourself about the photography. The world is getting out of hand thinking everyone needs to have perfect photos all the time. I love the one of your son with hims arms open! And the one below that but I can't emember what it is right now because my phone can only see so many things at a time. :)
