Reason 4,387 Dentists Scare Me

It's been a while since I mentioned how scared I am of the dentist.  That's because I haven't been in over a year.  Yup.  And guess what that gave me?  A FRONT tooth that died.  DIED!  My first root canal.  I've seen a long line of freaky and inadequate dentists.  Including the one who shocked me, the one who ruined my 6 years of orthodontia in one visit, and the one with nose hair I thought was going to reach down and tickle me.  Ehhhhh (shaking in fetal position).

So anyway, I found a new dentist.  I really like her and I like the office.  It's super fancy.  She made me feel comfortable.  She didn't hurt me.  Or shock me.  BUT, let me share how she explained the death of my tooth:

"You know when you hang someone and the noose tightens and they shake real hard for a while but then there is nothing?  Just death?  That's what happened to your tooth."

WHAT!?!?!?  I don't even want to know why this particular thing comes to her mind.  She needs to work on her analogies!

I'll go back to her for the procedure but I'm NOT getting sedated!  I'll tell you that much right now.
