Happy Birthday My Little Man

I can hardly believe six years ago today I welcomed my baby boy into this world.  It was icy and cold.  But the sun made everything sparkle.  And ever since, B has made everything in my life sparkle.

B steals my heart every day in a million ways.  He is funny and smart, he's curious and timid, he's a good friend and the best big brother, he has his own convictions and wants everyone to play nice.  His favorite color is red.  He wants to be a fire captain.  But I'm sure he'd settle for any job as long as he's calling the shots.  He loves the ladies.  His dancing makes his sister laugh so he does it often.  He laughs so hard there is no sound.  He can transform into anything at any moment-a pirate, a soldier, a wrestler, a Transformer, Iron Man, a Star Wars character, a knight in shining armor.  His imagination runs free.  He has big blue eyes and eyelashes that look like sweeping waves.Now that he reads, he cannot be duped.  He doesn't forget a thing.  His feelings run deep. I love this little man with all my heart.

Looking more like a man at age 4.  This photo breaks my heart.  I know some day his graduation photo will look quite the same.

At age 5 with his beloved Johnny Poppers on his feet.  After two years of rough play, they've gone to the memory trunk.

**Side note:  While typing this I can literally feel my pacemaker going off.  So either he stops my heart or his getting bigger breaks my heart.  Good thing I run off a generator.
